how much is the the misprint of Unholy Strength from the Card Game Magic: The Gathering worth?
im asking this cuz my husband & i are trying to come up with some extra cash & are selling off some of his old collectors items
we have looked on ebay & sites that sell misprints but we cant find anything
Well, largely this will depend upon what kind of misprint it is, what set the Unholy Stregnth is from (it has been reprinted many times), and who you sell it to. While that may sound good, there is not a large market for misprinted cards, and there are very few people willing to purchase them (unless they’re from Summer of Magic misprints, in which case they can often double or triple in price).
Basically, much more information is needed to determine the value. If the misprint is something like a ridged, cutoff top with the printed card not centered, don’t bother. I’ve opened of few of those kind of card myself, and I have yet to find someone willing to buy them for more then their real value.
And just as a hint: Unholy Stregnth is one of the worst cards in the game. It has seen no tournament play, and therefore its value for all reprintings is pennies, usually not above $.15. So even if it is a valuable misprint, the card itself has such little value that it probably isn’t worth selling.
